There are available various different coating processes and materials which may highly differ from one another. To prevent failures, methods and materials for preventing corrosion must be thoroughly tested. One of the best known methods is fog test where different salt or salt/acid solutions are mixed with water vapor. The test method is commonly called SALT SPRAY TESTING. Customers require more and more often - in addition to chemical control - salt spray testing of test panels according to a specific standard.
