Tumo Oy is a family owned and operated company which was founded in 1942. We are specialized in demanding machining, material processing and mechanical assembly. Tumo machine special steel alloys, nickel based alloys, titanium, aluminium and magnesium are for highly developed niche technologies.

Tumo performs non destructive testing (NDT ), anodising (Nadcap™ accredited processes) and chemical processing for the above metal alloys. One of our niche areas is hard anodising of aluminium alloys. Tumo also carries out salt spray testing to meet the requirements of various international standards.

Tumo’s manufacturing is based on modern CNC machine tools which are also supported by a variety of manual machine tools.

Programming is performed by using Delcam PowerMILL Pro, version 8.0 (5-axis programming), Delcam PowerMILL Modelling, version 7.0 and EZ-CAM 14.5® cam software.

Tumo’s Quality Management System is based on ISO 9001:2000, AS 9100, rev B, AQAP 2120, ed 2 and AC 7004 Aerospace Quality System (Nadcap™ accredited). Tumo Oy is a  Bronze Level  Preferred Supplier to The Boeing Company since December 1996.
